Art & Voices: Celebrating Different Artists and Their Stories

Course Overview

In this monthly gathering, young artists will discover how people throughout history used art to share their feelings, tell their stories, and help others understand important ideas about fairness, friendship, and belonging. We'll meet artists from many backgrounds—Black artists, minority creators, LGBTQ+ voices, and artists with different kinds of minds—and then make art inspired by what we learn.

I believe that kids should experience as much autonomy as possible while creating art, so while there will be guided art projects, I always welcome experimentation with different mediums.
